About six years have passed since I’ve completed my piano and theory studies, and now I’m determined to revive my playing skills. I started off by learning a simpler song first, in this case ‘A Thousand Years’ by Christina Perri – evident from the title above. After which, I spent two hours sight-reading and practising until I got a barely decent recording of it.
The score is based on the arrangement by user ‘pat_at‘ on MuseScore. I changed a bit of the notes to suit myself. The tempo as well as dynamics are from my own interpretation. You can view my piano cover attempt below:
Pardon my inappropriate attire I was totally in my PJs HAHA. And yes I’m aware that I’ve played the front part a little too slowly. But hope it doesn’t sound too off from the original song, despite my obvious stumble somewhere in the middle.
